Founded in 1970, °µÍø51 is the largest college in British Columbia, serving nearly 25,000 students annually. It is a vital part of British Columbia’s educational and economic landscape. With campuses in New Westminster and Coquitlam and training centres in Surrey, Burnaby and Maple Ridge, Douglas is a centrally located, transit connected institution with deep roots in Metro Vancouver.

We collaborate with municipalities, Indigenous communities, employers and school districts to align our programming with regional needs ensuring that education at Douglas has real measurable value in the community.
A hub for research, innovation and collaboration
Through the Research and Innovation Office, Douglas supports faculty-led applied research that solves community problems and enhances public services. Our research partnerships include:

Faculty researchers at °µÍø51 work with students and community partners to produce original and applied research, creative interventions and new methods for producing and curating knowledge.
